In May of 2023, I joined the Maryland Athletic Department as a Student Social Media Intern. From that moment on, I worked closely with Maryland football and basketball, creating content for their respective social platforms. Keep scrolling to see the contributions that I'm proudest of.
Terp Throwback
"Terp Throwback" is a content series that invites Terps fans to relive fond moments in Maryland sports history. Each installment recaps a marquee Maryland victory...

For Example,
Men's basketball's national championship win in 2002.
A Terrapin For Life
Men's basketball's Elite 8 game was Juju Reese's last in a Maryland uniform. We paid tribute with a series of photos dating back to his freshman year.
Hometown Hero
After walking-off Colorado State in the Sweet 16, Derik Queen provided us with a lot of quote-worthy material. This was the most family friendly.
Bedlam
Queen's game winner sent shockwaves through College Park. Fortunately, cameras were rolling.
Da User
This one meant something to me. Leading up to this moment, the social team had joked for months about working YouTubers Chris Smoove or QJB into a post. During Week 13 of the NFL season, Pro Terp Tarheeb Still finally presented us with the opportunity we had been waiting for.
DBU
When the Chargers selected Maryland's Tarheeb Still in the 2024 NFL draft, it felt like a good time to remind the world that College Park is DBU.
The Stef Story
In preparation for the 2024 NFL Draft, we launched a Draft Throwback series, highlighting Maryland alums who made splashes in the NFL. The highlight of the series was Maryland's very own, Stefon Diggs.
FOX's Big Noon Kickoff
Following Big Noon Kickoff's visit to College Park, I made a reel to recap the fun. I love this video because most of the footage is my own (I even gave my phone to BNK host Mark Ingram II for a POV!).
Rent's Due
As my first post as part of the Maryland social team, this project will always hold a special place in my heart. It was also a harbinger of the success that was to come, providing @terpsfootball with its best performing post in months, and catching the attention of Diggs himself. Diggs liking, commenting, and reposting made the moment extra special.
One more thing...
One of the best parts of my job was getting up close and personal with the Terps. Among my responsibilities was to cover Maryland sporting events from the sidelines. The videos below are short glimpses at some of the content that I captured for Maryland football and Maryland men’s basketball, straight from the middle of the action. Shot and edited entirely on my iPhone.
